The Story of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10)

Illustrated Bible Stories by Brian W. Chalmers © 2009

There was a tax man in the city of Jericho who was doing quite well for himself, but what he really wanted was to be able to see Jesus. However, he was only a short man and he couldn't see Jesus through the crowd, so he climbed up a sycamore tree to get a better view. Jesus saw him and told him to come down from the tree, and invited himself to Zacchaeus' house. Zacchaeus repented from his crooked ways and gave away half his income to the poor.
