The Story of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10)

There was a tax man in the city of Jericho who was doing quite well for himself, but what he really wanted was to be able to see Jesus. However, he was only a short man and he couldn't see Jesus through the crowd, so he climbed up a sycamore tree to get a better view. Jesus saw him and told him to come down from the tree, and invited himself to Zacchaeus' house. Zacchaeus repented from his crooked ways and gave away half his income to the poor.

The Cleansing of the Leper (Matthew 8:1-4; Mark 1:40-44; Luke 5:12-14)

There was a man who was leprous and because he was unclean his friends told him to live outside the town so he wouldn't give his leprosy to any one else. He heard that Jesus was in the area and thought that he might be able to cure him. He went and found Jesus, he got down on his knees and begged Jesus to heal him and sure enough, Jesus touched him and made him clean - his leprosy was gone!

The Wise & Foolish Builders (Matthew 7:24-27; Luke 6:47-49)

There were two men who decided to build themselves a house. One of the men was wise, but the other man was somewhat foolish. The wise man built his house upon solid rock and the foolish man built his house upon the soft sand. Both men were very pleased with their houses, that was until the rain came down though. The rain washed the sand away and the house upon the sand came crashing down. The house on the rock stood firm.

The Sick of the Palsy (Matthew 9:2-8; Mark 2:3-12; Luke 5:18-26)

Jesus returning to Capernaum found a large crowd gathering around him. A paralysed man was brought to him by four men, but the crowd was so big that they could not get near. They removed part of the roof of the house where Jesus was and lowered the paralysed man through the roof and Jesus impressed by their faith healed the paralysed man and he was able to get up and walk home much to the astonishment of everyone watching.
